Service Description

Hourly reserved segments Fridays and Saturdays for people to glaze and fire Raku pots and also decorate with horse hair.  Walk-ins are welcome and can pay at the door. The pottery will already be bisqued and signees can decorate them and fire to their choosing. I will have traditional Raku pots and glazes available along with the porcelain pots for the horse hair and slip.  I will supply the horse hair.  Customers can also bring their own horse hair or people's hair if they choose.  I will also have on hand mica infused slip that can be brushed on the horse hair pottery before firing.   One other shape I will provide is a wall sconce that can be fired and decorated with horse hair and the mica slip if so desired. The fee will be $25.00 for 1 piece or $48.00 for 2,  plus tax.   Hours for all days will be from 10 am till 4 pm, this being the start of the last hourly block. Dates are May 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 and 17.
